Connect the gas source and power supply, then turn on the power switch. The machine will initiate a self-test. (Note: During self-test, the anesthesia machine's transfer valve must be in the ventilator position.) Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the self-test: 1. Turn off the flowmeter. 2. Block the Y-shaped circuit. 3. Use the rapid oxygen supply button to fill the bellows.
The anesthesia machine's gas source connection port is located at the rear of the unit.
The system's rated operating pressure is 0.44 MPa ± 0.16 MPa (0.28 MPa to 0.6 MPa).
Gas Sources for This Equipment:
1. Central Gas Supply System: Connect one end to the corresponding gas inlet port on the rear of the equipment and the other end to the corresponding gas outlet port on the supply system.
2. Bottled High-Pressure Gas Sources: Install the O₂ and N₂O pressure regulators on the respective gas cylinders and connect them to the high-pressure tubing. Connect one end of the tubing to the corresponding gas inlet port on the rear of the equipment and the other end to the outlet port of the respective O₂ or N₂O pressure regulator.
